卡格高級寵物食品一直堅持高品質及以「食得健康．快樂成長」為宗旨陪伴著眾多毛孩一同成長。去年是卡格高級寵物食品推出市場十週年，同年方博士宣佈成立首間「卡格動物食物銀行」，藉此幫助更多毛孩和照顧牠們的收容所及獨立義工，同時也提供一個平台給喜歡貓狗的善心人士進行贊助。
在2020年成立的首年，卡格動物食物銀行贊助了五間貓狗收容所合共超過1,000毛孩及100名獨立動物義工和被他們照顧著的眾多毛孩。2021年，卡格動物食物銀行的受惠機構數目，更由去年的5間，增加到今年的11間，希望讓更多沒有家的毛孩也能嚐到健康美食。
卡格動物食物銀行每當收到公眾人士贊助時，萬士博(亞洲)有限公司會按比例加大贊助數量，並定期送給贊助人指定的受惠收容所或獨立動物義工。而喜愛動物的善心人士可透過卡格動物食物銀行自由選擇贊助更多卡格食品給心儀的受惠單位。所有贊助將會全數送出，而送贈記錄均會清楚顯示於卡格動物食物銀行網頁內給大眾隨時查看。
展望未來，方博士希望有能力在更多的地區成立卡格動物食物銀行，幫助更多動物及照顧牠們的守護天使。

Animals and humans are alike in that they have different encounters in their life journeys: some revel in a cozy and privileged life that makes ordinary individuals envy. Yet, there are many more helpless and abandoned animals that do not have anyone to care for them, do not have enough food, do not have shelters. They stray in the street all daylong, facing constant challenges and dangers.
Dr. April Fong, the founder of Kakato premium pet food, an animal enthusiast since childhood, has unfailingly supported the local community striving to build up an environment in which humans and pets could live harmoniously together. Since 2012, we have been organizing/supporting various charitable activities such as introducing the Kakato Animal Bus to provide free bus service for furkids and their owners to visit the countryside for leisure; setting up the Kakato Scholarships to provide financial support to Hong Kong students to study veterinary degree; organizing the Kakato Human and Dogs Charity Orienteering to enhance interaction among pets and their owners in the nature; sponsoring mobile veterinary clinics to provide professional medical services in remote areas, and donating food and vaccines to animal rescue organizations.
Kakato Premium Pet Food have been upholding our philosophy of “Healthy Food Means Healthy Pets". Last year marked Kakato’s 10th Anniversary, Dr. April Fong announced the establishment of the Kakato Animal Food Bank to help abandoned animals in animal shelters and those kept by independent volunteers. It is also a platform for animal enthusiasts to sponsor healthy and delicious food for abandoned animals.
During the first year in 2020, Kakato Animal Food Bank sponsored more than 1000 cats and dogs in five animal shelters as well as numerous animals taken care by 100 independent animal volunteers. Nowadays, the number of beneficiary shelters has increased to 13, hoping to allow more homeless animals to enjoy healthy food.
Every Time Kakato Animal Food Bank receives sponsorship from the public, MaxiPro (Asia) Limited will increase the sponsoring quantity proportionally, and give the sponsors' designated shelters or individual animal volunteers on a regular basis. Animal enthusiasts can sponsor food for their preferred beneficiaries through the Kakato Animal Food Bank. By bestowing full transparency, sponsors can track and monitor their sponsorship records in the website of the foodbank.
Looking ahead, Dr. April hopes that she could set up Kakato Animal Food Bank in more regions to help abandoned animals and their guarding angels.
